What are the new Password requirements?

Lock with Green CheckmarkAs part of our upcoming security enhancements, we have modified the requirements for Passwords.
The new requirements are:

  • Minimum of 8 characters
  • Maximum of 128 characters
  • Must only contain letters, numbers, and the following symbols:
    ` ~ ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) – _ + = [ ] { } | ; : , . < > ?
  • At least 1 upper-case letter
  • At least 1 lower-case letter
  • Cannot contain the Login ID ( not case-sensitive)
  • Reminder: Passwords are case sensitive.

If your current Password does not meet the above requirements, please change your Password now by following these steps:

  1. Login to your PSI account
  2. Under the Settings tab (3 wheels), select “Edit My Info”
  3. Scroll down to the “Login Information” section
  4. Important: Do not click on “Password Requirements” as it does not reflect the new requirements.
  5. Enter your new Password
  6. Confirm your new Password
  7. Click on “Save” at the bottom of the page.

The new Password requirements apply to every Administrator account on the True Talent platform. In addition, Candidates who use a Login and Password to access assessments will need to update to the new requirements. However, Candidates who click an URL to access assessments do not need to update their Password.
